Hello Blue Crabs!
I am excited to join you for our second year in the Summer of 2024! We had an incredible first year last summer, and the coaches and I are looking forward to another great year this summer!
For those who may not know me yet, I am a resident of the Villages of Urbana and I’m excited to be a part of the team in my community. I currently teach and coach the Swim and Dive team at Seneca Valley High School in Montgomery County. I also coach Advanced Seniors at the Olney location of Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club (RMSC). I am excited to continue working with the Blue Crabs and Mini Crabs!

Hi Blue Crabs!
My name is Alyssa Davies and I can't wait for another awesome season! I will be graduating from Urbana High School in May. I will be attending the University of Maryland in the fall, majoring in Hearing & Speech Sciences to become a pediatric speech-language pathologist. I have been a member of the VOU Seahawks since I was six years old and transitioned from junior coach to assistant coach in 2022. Last year, I coached both swim teams but I am so excited to be with the Blue Crabs full-time this season! Swim team was always (and still is) my favorite part of summer. I hope to instill my love for swimming in all new and returning swimmers! See you soon!

Hey Blue Crabs! I am so excited to be returning as an assistant coach again this summer! I am a rising senior at Urbana High school. I have swam with VOU for 9 years before becoming a junior coach for 3 years and now an assistant coach. I have also worked at Kids first swim school, where I taught the basics of swimming. I am so so excited to see everyone and have another fun summer!

Hi Blue Crabs!
My name is Erin, and I am so excited to be your assistant coach this year! I have been a swimmer for almost ten years, both for high schools and clubs, it has been a huge part of my life. I graduated from Urbana High School last year and am currently a freshman at Grinnell College.
I often had the pleasure of working with beginner swimmers, and I love passing on what I have learned to others. My favorite events are butterfly and sprint freestyle, I love the feeling of soaring through the water.
I'm looking forward to a fun summer, and can't wait to meet everyone!

Hi! My name is Gabi Dwoskin and I'm thrilled to return for my second season with the Blue Crabs! I'm a UHS graduate and will be attending the University of Maryland this upcoming fall to study psychology and business.
I've been swimming for VOU since 2016, and swim team has always been the highlight of my summer. I spent the 2022 season coaching for the Seahawks, and transitioned to the Blue Crabs in 2023, immediately falling in love with the warm community atmosphere.
I am most excited to see swimmers improve and create long-lasting memories this season! I look forward to another wonderful summer!

Hi Blue Crabs!
My name is Lilly Eichelberger. While this is my first year at Blue Crabs, I was a coach for the Seahawks for the past two years, and I have been swimming for 12 years. I’m graduating from Urbana High School this spring, and am committed to play indoor and beach volleyball at Stevenson University next fall as a legal studies major on a pre-law early graduation track.
I am so excited to see what this summer brings and I cannot wait for the season to begin!

My name is Zach Missigman and I am a rising senior at Urbana High School. I have been swimming competitively since I was 4 years old, a dedicated year-round club swimmer for 12 years and current varsity high school swimmer as well. I have a strong passion for swimming, with my favorite strokes being butterfly and breaststroke. Additionally, I have spent the past two summers working as a lifeguard in the VOU. Now, as the new assistant coach to the Urbana Blue Crabs, I am eager to share my wealth of swimming experiences with the team and I am looking forward to an exciting first season coaching the Blue Crabs.
