I can’t wait to get Year 3 started! I know that our coaches are excited for an awesome summer!
For those who have not met me, my name is Brad Coyle and I have been the Head Coach for the Blue Crabs for all three summers since its inception.
In addition to coaching Blue Crabs, I also teach English and coach the Swim and Dive Team at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown and I am the Advanced Seniors Coach at RMSC-Olney.
I look forward to seeing you this summer!
Coach Brad

My name is Alyssa Davies and I’m super excited for another incredible season! I have been a member of the Urbana swim teams since I was six years old and transitioned from junior coach to assistant coach in 2022, making this my fourth season as a coach. I am currently a student at the University of Maryland studying Hearing and Speech Sciences and intending to pursue a career as a pediatric speech-language pathologist.
Swim team is my favorite part of the summer because of the family-like atmosphere and opportunity to contribute to the growth of the swimmers. I’m looking forward to instilling my love for summer swim in all new and returning team members and building meaningful relationships with families.
Summer 2025 is going to be the best season yet!
Coach Alyssa

My name is Hailey Cronan, and I’m a student at the University of Maryland studying finance and management. I’ve been swimming for thirteen years, starting at age six with my local summer team. Over the years, my love for the sport has grown, and I’m excited to share that passion with the Blue Crabs!
As a several-time state qualifier and Eastern Zone championship qualifier, I look forward to bringing my experience to the team and helping swimmers learn, grow, and, most importantly, have fun. I can't wait to meet you all! Let's make this season the best one yet.
Coach Hailey

I am excited to be an assistant coach for the Blue Crabs this summer! As the captain of Urbana High School’s swim team and a former assistant coach for FCY, I have a deep passion for swimming and love helping others improve in the sport. With years of competitive experience, I enjoy working with swimmers of all levels to build technique, confidence, and a strong team spirit. This season, I look forward to seeing our swimmers grow, reach new goals, and have fun in the water.
Let’s make it a great summer!
Coach Eileen

Hi! My name is Gabi Dwoskin and I'm thrilled to return for my third season with the Blue Crabs! I am currently a student at the University of Maryland pursuing a dual degree in Psychology and Business Management. I have been with the VOU summer swim program since 2016 as a swimmer, junior coach, and now four years as an assistant coach.
Swim team is such an integral part of my summer because of the tight-knit community that forms in the pool. While learning to swim is such a wonderful life skill, I most enjoy building bonds with swimmers to ensure that their summers are full of positivity, fun, and self-growth. I look forward to seeing both returning and new faces this season! Go Blue Crabs!
Coach Gabi

I'm Andrew McDonald, and I am beyond excited to join the Blue Crabs this season! I am finishing up my senior year at Urbana High School, where I was captain of the swim team and a 4-time high school state qualifier.
I have been summer swimming since I was nine and look forward to helping the next generation of kids in the water!
Coach Andrew

If you don't know me, I'm Mary Pullen and I am looking forward to helping as an Assistant Coach for this summer's swim team!
I have been swimming since I was 4 years old, starting with summer swim on the North Creek Neptunes and continuing until 4th grade. Then, in 5th grade, I joined the Urbana Seahawks. Over the last two years I have been on the Urbana High School swim team and earned a varsity letter.
I'm excited to be part of this community and have a fun time while teaching new swimmers.
