Hi Blue Crabs!

We had such a great Divisional Championship meet, an amazing celebration last night, and an incredible first season! From the beginning, the Blue Crabs have been a community endeavor, so thank you for the part you have played in making it a success! On Saturday we had an incredible 64 swimmers achieve personal bests! We also want to recognize our high point scorers who finished first in each of their events scoring 21 points each. Well done Tarek Hussein, Alberto Nevares, and Carmen Nevares! We also had big numbers put up by Amir Hussein (19 points), Elliot Voas (16), Mason Garmon (14), Korey Kauflin (14), Kyleigh Kauflin (14), Eric Yi (14), Dakota Dove (13), and Matix Garmon (11). Way to go Blue Crabs!

ALL-STAR MEET

Over the course of our season we had 14 swimmers qualify for the FSSL All-Star Meet. They are Kendall Davies, Dakota Dove, Mason Garmon, Matix Garmon, Amir Hussein, Tarek Hussein, Korey Kauflin, Kyleigh Kauflin, Alberto Nevares, Carmen Nevares, Nathan Thornburg, Elliot Voas, Erin Wang, and Eric Yi. A HUGE congratulations to each of them for this accomplishment!

The All-Star meet will take place on Saturday at the Natelli YMCA here in Urbana on Saturday, July 29, at 9:00 AM. If you are planning on having your all-star swimmer participate in the meet then you must declare your swimmer by Tuesday, July 25 at 12:00 PM. You can do that here.

RIBBON & AWARD PICK-UP

Please stop by the pool on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 6:00 and 7:00 PM to pick-up ribbons and/or awards from the season. We will have these items available then, but we will not hold them for you indefinitely. Please let us know if you need to make other arrangements for pick-up.
