Swimmers of the Week 6/15, 6/22 and 6/29
Hi Everyone,
I hope that you are all doing well and looking forward to a great holiday weekend!
I want to echo some of the sentiments from the email that was sent over the weekend: It is incredible that we have now logged our first two wins in team history and that we have easily eclipsed the number of All Star Swimmers and All Star Times that we achieved last year! It is also unbelievable to see that we are averaging over 100 Best Times per swim meet! Congratulations for an amazing start to the season! Even better than all of that is that I keep seeing all of our Blue Crabs, Mini Crabs, Parents, Family and Friends helping more, cheering more, trying new things and just generally making it an amazing summer! I hope that you are all excited and proud of what we've achieved so far and that you are ready for more during the second half of the season!!
We wanted to take a quick moment to recognize those of you who have won Swimmer of the Week awards so far this season. While we certainly like to recognize those who win races and score points, we also want to emphasize those who are cheering for their teammates, helping at practices and meets, trying new strokes and/or distances and just generally being amazing Blue Crabs! While we hope that you will understand that this is not a comprehensive list--it's not "I did _____ so I definitely get an award," we hope that everyone will continue to show these traits during our meets and practices.
Please check the names below and make sure that you have gotten a Swimmer of the Week Golden Coin for each week or weeks that you have won. If you see your name and have not gotten a coin yet, please see us during practice and we will help you out.
Thanks so much and keep up the great work, Blue Crabs!
Thanks,
Coach Brad
